Gluten-free Cauliflower Pizza Crust

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a food processor, pulse the cauliflower florets until they resemble rice.
  3. Transfer the cauliflower rice to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 5-6 minutes, or until tender.
  4. Place the cooked cauliflower in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much liquid as possible.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and beaten egg. Mix until well combined.
  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and press the cauliflower mixture into a 1/4-inch thick circle, shaping it into a pizza crust.
  7. Bake the crust for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and firm.
  8. Remove from the oven and add your favorite toppings. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Slice and serve hot.
