Gluten-free Cauliflower Pizza Crust
This gluten-free cauliflower pizza crust is a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional pizza crust. It's easy to make and perfect for those following a gluten-free diet.
Ingredients
- 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a food processor, pulse the cauliflower florets until they resemble rice.
- Transfer the cauliflower rice to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 5-6 minutes, or until tender.
- Place the cooked cauliflower in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much liquid as possible.
- In a large bowl, combine the cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and beaten egg. Mix until well combined.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and press the cauliflower mixture into a 1/4-inch thick circle, shaping it into a pizza crust.
- Bake the crust for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and firm.
- Remove from the oven and add your favorite toppings. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Slice and serve hot.
