Ingredients
- 12 large mushrooms, stems removed and reserved
- 200g Goan sausage, removed from casing
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Finely chop the mushroom stems and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook the Goan sausage, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned.
- Add the chopped mushroom stems, onion, and garlic to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are softened.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and cilantro. Season with salt and pepper.
