Goan Style Beef Rissois Samosas
Goan Style Beef Rissois Samosas are a delicious and savory snack that combines the flavors of Goan cuisine with the crispy texture of samosas. These samosas are filled with a spiced beef mixture and then deep-fried to perfection.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- 12 samosa wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a pan, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the onions, garlic, and ginger to the beef and cook until the onions are soft.
- Stir in the cumin, coriander, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the fresh coriander leaves. Let the mixture cool.
- Take a samosa wrapper and place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center.
- Fold the wrapper into a triangle, sealing the edges with a little water.
- Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the samosas until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
