Goan Style Beef Rissois Samosas

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • 12 samosa wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a pan, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the onions, garlic, and ginger to the beef and cook until the onions are soft.
  3. Stir in the cumin, coriander, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the fresh coriander leaves. Let the mixture cool.
  5. Take a samosa wrapper and place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center.
  6. Fold the wrapper into a triangle, sealing the edges with a little water.
  7. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the samosas until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
