Goan Style Chicken Cafreal Quesadillas

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons Goan cafreal masala
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 8 flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the ginger-garlic paste, lime juice, Goan cafreal masala, and salt. Marinate the chicken breasts in this mixture for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and cook the marinated chicken until it is fully cooked. Once done, shred the chicken and set it aside.
  3. Place a tortilla on a flat surface and sprinkle some shredded cheese on one half of the tortilla. Add a portion of the cooked chicken on top of the cheese and fold the tortilla in half.
  4. Heat a pan and spread some butter on it. Place the filled tortilla in the pan and cook until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is golden brown on both sides.
  5. Repeat the process for the remaining tortillas.
