Goan Style Fish Tikka Skewers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb firm white fish fillets, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Goan fish masala
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 onion, cut into chunks
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, Goan fish masala, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, lemon juice, and salt.
  2. Add the fish cubes to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Thread the marinated fish cubes, onion chunks, and bell pepper chunks onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  4. Heat a grill pan or stovetop grill over medium heat. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until the fish is cooked through and has a charred exterior.
