Ingredients
- 500g mutton, cut into pieces
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3-4 green chilies, slit
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate the mutton pieces with yogurt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
- Add the green chilies, ginger, and garlic. Cook for a few minutes until the raw smell disappears.
- Add the marinated mutton and cook on medium heat until the mutton is tender.
- Pour in the coconut milk and garam masala. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the gravy thickens.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
