Gobi Manchurian Fried Rice
Gobi Manchurian Fried Rice is a popular Indo-Chinese dish that combines the flavors of Gobi Manchurian and fried rice into one delicious meal.
Ingredients
- 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 cup of cooked rice
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup
- 1 tablespoon of chili garlic sauce
- 1 teaspoon of ginger, minced
- 1 teaspoon of garlic, minced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 2 spring onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup of cornstarch
- 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- Oil for frying
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Gobi Manchurian by coating the cauliflower florets in a mixture of cornstarch, all-purpose flour, salt, and pepper. Deep fry until golden brown and set aside.
- In a separate pan, heat some oil and sauté the ginger, garlic, and green chilies. Add the onions and bell peppers, and cook until they are slightly tender.
- Stir in the soy sauce, tomato ketchup, and chili garlic sauce. Add the cooked rice and mix well.
- Add the fried cauliflower florets to the rice mixture and toss gently to combine.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions and fresh cilantro before serving.
