Ingredients

  • 500g gofio (roasted corn or wheat flour)
  • 1 liter water
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Gradually add the gofio to the boiling water, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
  3. Continue stirring and cooking the mixture over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes, until it thickens to a porridge-like consistency.
  4. Season with salt to taste.
  5. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
