Golden Corral Bread Pudding

Ingredients
- 6 cups cubed day-old bread
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Place the bread cubes in a greased 9x9 inch baking dish.
- In a small saucepan, heat the milk and butter until the butter is melted. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Gradually whisk in the warm milk mixture. Pour over the bread cubes, and press down with a fork to make sure all the bread is soaked.
- Sprinkle raisins over the top, if desired.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
