Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sliced water chestnuts
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  2. Add the garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the broccoli, bell peppers, snow peas, carrots, and water chestnuts. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and stir to coat.
  5. Cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the vegetables.
  6. Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
