Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu, drained and cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed and sauté the garlic until fragrant.
- Add the sliced bell peppers and cook until slightly softened.
- Stir in the green onions, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and vegetable broth.
- Return the tofu to the pan and toss to coat with the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
