Ingredients
- 2 goose webs, cleaned and trimmed
- 10 dried shiitake mushrooms, soaked and stems removed
- 3 slices of ginger
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch, dissolved in 2 tablespoons of water
Instructions
- Blanch the goose webs in boiling water for 5 minutes, then rinse under cold water and drain.
- In a large pot, add the blanched goose webs, shiitake mushrooms, ginger, garlic, green onions, Shaoxing wine, oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and chicken stock.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1.5 hours, or until the goose webs are tender.
- Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook for another 5 minutes to thicken the sauce.
- Transfer the braised goose webs and mushrooms to a serving dish and serve hot.
