Ingredients
- 500g mutton, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 green chilies, slit
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/4 cup oil
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, and sauté for a few minutes.
- Add mutton pieces and cook until they are browned.
- Stir in the tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander powder. Cook until the oil separates.
- Whisk the yogurt and add it to the mutton. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add garam masala and salt. Cover and cook until the mutton is tender.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
