Gosht Shashlik (spiced Beef Kebabs)

Ingredients
- 1 lb beef, cut into cubes
- 1 large onion, cut into chunks
- 1 large bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the yogurt, vegetable oil, ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- Add the beef cubes to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Thread the marinated beef, onion, and bell pepper onto skewers.
- Heat a grill or a stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the kebabs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Serve the Gosht Shashlik hot with naan or rice.
