Grandma's Rum Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1 package vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 4 eggs

  • 1/2 cup dark rum

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan.
  2. Sprinkle chopped nuts over the bottom of the pan.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix and pudding mix. Mix in the eggs, water, oil, and rum. Pour batter over the nuts in the pan.
  4. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
  5. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then invert onto the serving dish. Prick the top and pour glaze over the cake.
