Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, and sugar together.
- In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in the warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Pour the yeast mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Scoop spoonfuls of the dough and carefully drop them into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove the loukoumades from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
- Drizzle the loukoumades with honey and sprinkle with ground cinnamon before serving.
