Green Beans With Bacon

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and blanch the green beans for 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  4. Add the blanched green beans to the skillet and sauté for 5-6 minutes, or until tender-crisp.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, then stir in the cooked bacon.
  6. Transfer the green beans with bacon to a serving dish and serve hot.
