Green Chana

Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh green chana (green chickpeas)
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
- Add the chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and oil separates.
- Add the fresh green chana and cook for 5-7 minutes until they are tender.
- Sprinkle garam masala and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Green chana is ready to be served hot as a snack or a side dish.
