Ingredients
- 2 cups whole green gram (mung beans)
- 2-3 green chilies
- 1 inch piece of ginger
- 1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
- Handful of fresh coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
- Oil for cooking
Instructions
- Soak the green gram in water for 4-6 hours or overnight.
- Drain the water and grind the soaked green gram along with green chilies, ginger, and salt to a smooth batter.
- Add the chopped onion and coriander leaves to the batter and mix well.
- Heat a non-stick pan or griddle and pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan.
- Spread the batter in a circular motion to make a thin dosa.
- Drizzle some oil around the edges and cook until the dosa turns golden brown and crispy.
- Flip the dosa and cook the other side for a few seconds.
- Remove the dosa from the pan and serve hot with chutney or sambar.
