Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, milk, sugar, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is hot but not boiling.
