Grilled Chicken (pollo A La Plancha)

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the chicken. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  3. Heat a grill pan or stovetop grill over medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  4. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
