Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 ripe plantains, peeled and sliced

- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated

Instructions
- Season the chicken thighs with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken thighs and cook for 6-8 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the sliced plantains to the skillet and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Pour in the chicken broth, soy sauce, and honey. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Return the chicken thighs to the skillet and simmer for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Serve the grilled chicken with the makemba frites (fried plantains) and enjoy!
