Ingredients

  • 500g cottage cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 onion, cut into chunks
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, and lemon juice to make the marinade.
  2. Add the cottage cheese cubes, onion, and bell pepper to the marinade. Mix well to coat everything evenly. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated cottage cheese, onion, and bell pepper onto skewers.
  4. Brush the skewers with oil and place them on the grill. Cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the cottage cheese is golden brown and the vegetables are tender.
  5. Remove from the grill and garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with mint chutney and naan.
