Ingredients

  • 400g cottage cheese (paneer), cut into cubes
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 onion, cut into chunks
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 tomato, cut into chunks
  • Salt to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder, lemon juice, and salt to make the marinade.
  2. Add the cottage cheese cubes to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  3. Thread the marinated cottage cheese, onion, bell pepper, and tomato onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  5. Grill the skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the cottage cheese and vegetables are lightly charred.
  6. Serve hot with mint chutney and lemon wedges.
