Ingredients

  • 4 pieces of fresh fish fillets (such as snapper or mackerel)

  • 2 tablespoons of coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 red chilies, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade by mixing tamarind paste, coconut sugar, turmeric powder, minced garlic, sliced red chilies, salt, and vegetable oil in a bowl.
  2. Marinate the fish fillets with the prepared marinade and let them sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the marinated fish fillets for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice charred exterior.
  5. Remove the grilled fish from the heat and serve hot.
