Ingredients
- 4 whole fish, such as carp or catfish
- 1 cup tamarind paste
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 teaspoons ground turmeric
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Clean and gut the fish, leaving the scales on.
- In a bowl, mix the tamarind paste, olive oil, turmeric, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
- Coat the fish with the marinade, inside and out, and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
