Grilled Goat Skewers with Spicy Tomato Sauce (Inyama ye Inyama ye Inyamaswa n'Isosiyete ye Tomato)

Ingredients

  • 1 kg goat meat, cubed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the cubed goat meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, paprika, cayenne pepper, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the meat, then cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Thread the marinated goat meat onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  4. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is cooked to your desired doneness.
  5. While the meat is grilling, prepare the spicy tomato sauce by sautéing the diced tomatoes in a pan with a little oil, garlic, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook until the tomatoes break down and the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve the grilled goat skewers with the spicy tomato sauce on the side.
