Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs (700g) lamb, cut into cubes
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, ground coriander, ground cinnamon, cayenne pepper, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the lamb cubes to the marinade and coat them evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  5. Grill the lamb skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
