Grilled Lemongrass Pork Chops (Sườn nướng sả)

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 3 stalks lemongrass, finely minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 shallots, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the lemongrass, garlic, shallots, fish sauce, soy sauce, honey, vegetable oil, black pepper, salt, and sugar to make the marinade.
  2. Place the pork chops in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the pork chops. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the pork chops from the marinade and grill for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and slightly charred.
  4. Remove the pork chops from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
