Grilled Meat, also known as Exquisite Inyama, is a popular dish in Burundian cuisine. It is a flavorful and aromatic dish that is perfect for gatherings and special occasions.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs of beef, cut into cubes
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp of paprika
- 1 tsp of cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp of vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the beef cubes with the chopped onion, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated beef cubes onto skewers.
- Brush the skewers with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
- Grill the meat for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until it is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and let the meat rest for a few minutes before serving.
