Grilled Pork Belly (inihaw Na Liempo)

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork belly
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, black pepper, and salt to create the marinade.
  2. Place the pork belly in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the pork belly from the marinade and grill for about 15 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and slightly charred.
  5. Let the grilled pork belly rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
