Grilled Sausages (mici)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sparkling water
  • 1/4 cup club soda

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, ground pork, chopped onion, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Add the sparkling water and club soda to the meat mixture and knead it for a few minutes until well combined.
  3. Shape the meat mixture into sausage-shaped rolls, about 4 inches long and 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  5. Grill the sausages for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned and cooked through.
  6. Remove the sausages from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
