Grilled Tilapia with Hot Pepper Sauce (Poisson Braisé)

Ingredients

  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 2 hot peppers, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate the tilapia fillets with salt, pepper, paprika, coriander, cumin, garlic, and ginger for 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Grill the marinated tilapia fillets for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  4. In a separate pan, heat the vegetable oil and sauté the onions, tomatoes, and hot peppers until softened.
  5. Season the hot pepper sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve the grilled tilapia with the hot pepper sauce on the side.
