Guangdong Suan Mian, also known as Cantonese Garlic Noodles, is a popular dish in Pakistani Chinese cuisine. These flavorful and aromatic noodles are quick and easy to make, perfect for a delicious weeknight meal.
Ingredients
- 8 oz (225g) egg noodles
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Boil the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and white pepper.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the garlic mixture and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss to coat with the garlic sauce.
- Stir in the sliced green onions and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Transfer the noodles to a serving dish and garnish with additional green onions, if desired.
