Guava Glazed Ribs

Ingredients

  • 2 racks of pork ribs
  • 1 cup guava jelly
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Season the ribs with salt and pepper, then place them on a baking sheet.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine the guava jelly, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Cook over medium heat until the jelly is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  4. Brush the guava glaze over the ribs, covering them completely.
  5. Cover the ribs with aluminum foil and bake for 1.5 hours.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes, basting the ribs with the glaze every 10 minutes.
  7. Once the ribs are tender and caramelized, remove them from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
