Gui Hua Gao (osmanthus Jelly)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup osmanthus flowers
  • 1/4 cup agar agar powder

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
  2. Add sugar and osmanthus flowers, stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Sprinkle agar agar powder into the saucepan while stirring continuously.
  4. Simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
  5. Pour the mixture into molds and let it cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
  6. Unmold the jelly and serve chilled.
