Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef chuck, cut into cubes

  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup red wine

  • 2 bay leaves

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the beef cubes over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the onions and garlic, and cook until softened.

  4. Pour in the beef broth, red wine, and tomato paste. Add the bay leaves, salt, and pepper.

  6. Add the frozen peas during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
