Ingredients
- Potatoes - 4 medium, boiled and mashed
- Green chilies - 2, finely chopped
- Ginger - 1-inch piece, grated
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp, chopped
- Cornflour - 2 tbsp
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - for shallow frying
- Yogurt - 1 cup
- Tamarind chutney - 1/2 cup
- Green chutney - 1/2 cup
- Sev - 1/2 cup
- Chaat masala - 1 tsp
- Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
- Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
- Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish
Instructions
- Mix the mashed potatoes, green chilies, ginger, cumin seeds, coriander leaves, cornflour, and salt in a bowl.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into round tikkis.
- Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the tikkis until they are golden brown and crispy on both sides.
- Whisk the yogurt until smooth and creamy.
- Place the aloo tikkis on a serving plate and top them with whisked yogurt, tamarind chutney, green chutney, sev, chaat masala, red chili powder, and cumin powder.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve immediately.
