Gujarati-style Tandoori Paneer
Gujarati-style Tandoori Paneer is a flavorful and aromatic dish that originates from the Indian state of Gujarat. This vegetarian dish is marinated in a blend of traditional Indian spices and then cooked to perfection, resulting in a delicious and healthy meal.
Ingredients
- 500g paneer, cut into cubes
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 onion, cut into chunks
- 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder, lemon juice, and salt to make the marinade.
- Add the paneer cubes to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for 1 hour.
- In a pan, heat oil and sauté the onion and bell pepper until slightly charred.
- Add the marinated paneer and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the paneer is cooked and has a slightly charred texture.
- Serve hot with naan or rice.
