Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk powder
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the milk powder, all-purpose flour, and baking soda.
  2. Add ghee and milk to the dry ingredients to form a soft dough.
  3. Divide the dough into small portions and roll them into smooth balls.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and fry the dough balls on low heat until golden brown.
  5. In a separate pan, combine sugar, water, and cardamom powder to make the sugar syrup.
  6. Once the dough balls are fried, soak them in the sugar syrup for a few hours before serving.
