Ingredients

  • 20 gyoza wrappers
  • 200g ground pork
  • 1 cup chopped cabbage
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground pork, cabbage, green onions, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Place a small spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of each gyoza wrapper. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold and pleat to seal the gyoza.
  3. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a simmer. Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and chili oil if using.
  4. Add the gyoza to the simmering broth and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the gyoza are cooked through.
  5. Serve the gyoza and broth in bowls, garnished with additional chopped green onions if desired.
