Ingredients

  • 500g chicken, cut into pieces

  • 2-3 green chilies, slit
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon mustard oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Water

Instructions

  1. Heat mustard oil in a pan and add the chopped onion. Sauté until golden brown.
  2. Add the ginger and garlic paste, and green chilies. Sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Add the chicken pieces and turmeric powder. Cook until the chicken is slightly browned.
  4. Add the chopped mustard greens and mix well. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Pour in water, cover the pan, and let it simmer until the chicken is cooked through and the greens are tender.
  6. Adjust the seasoning and serve hot with steamed rice.
