Ingredients
- 500g chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 cups chopped mustard greens
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2-3 green chilies, slit
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon mustard oil
- Salt to taste
- Water
Instructions
- Heat mustard oil in a pan and add the chopped onion. Sauté until golden brown.
- Add the ginger and garlic paste, and green chilies. Sauté for a few minutes.
- Add the chicken pieces and turmeric powder. Cook until the chicken is slightly browned.
- Add the chopped mustard greens and mix well. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in water, cover the pan, and let it simmer until the chicken is cooked through and the greens are tender.
- Adjust the seasoning and serve hot with steamed rice.
