Ingredients
- 500g chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 cups chopped mustard greens
- 1 cup bamboo shoots, sliced
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 4-5 green chilies, slit
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 2 tablespoons mustard oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat mustard oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Sauté until golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are slightly browned.
- Stir in the turmeric, cumin, coriander, and red chili powders. Mix well.
- Add the chopped mustard greens and bamboo shoots. Cook for 10-15 minutes.
- Season with salt and cook until the chicken is tender and the greens are cooked.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
