Hachee Sliders are a delicious Dutch twist on the classic slider, featuring tender beef stewed in a rich, flavorful sauce and served on mini buns. These sliders are perfect for parties, gatherings, or a fun weeknight dinner!

Hachee Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs stewing beef, cubed
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 12 slider buns
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the beef over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the onions and garlic, and cook until softened.
  3. Sprinkle the flour over the beef and onion mixture, and stir to coat.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and red wine vinegar, then add the brown sugar and bay leaves.
  5. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then cover and cook over low heat for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Assemble the sliders by placing a spoonful of the hachee (beef mixture) onto each bun.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
