해물파전 피자 (Haemul Pajeon Pizza) is a fusion dish that combines the flavors of traditional Korean seafood pancake (haemul pajeon) with the concept of a classic Italian pizza.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sliced squid
  • 1/2 cup small shrimp
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/4 cup sliced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup sliced onion
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Soy dipping sauce, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, water, eggs, and salt to make the pancake batter.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Pour half of the pancake batter into the skillet, then arrange half of the seafood and vegetables on top.
  4. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown, then carefully flip the pancake and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  5. Repeat with the remaining batter and ingredients to make a second pancake.
  6. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  7. Transfer the cooked pancakes to a baking sheet and sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Slice the pancake pizzas and serve with soy dipping sauce.
