Hai Dai Dou Fu Tang (seaweed Soup With Tofu)

Ingredients

  • 1 block of soft tofu, cubed
  • 20g dried seaweed (hai dai)
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak the dried seaweed in water for 10 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a pot, bring the vegetable broth to a boil.
  3. Add the cubed tofu and soaked seaweed to the pot.
  4. Simmer for 10 minutes, then season with soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
