Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs pork belly, cut into cubes
- 1/2 cup soy sauce

- 1/4 cup water

- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the pork belly, soy sauce, vinegar, water, garlic, onion, bay leaves, and peppercorns. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add the marinated pork belly and marinade mixture. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add brown sugar and continue to simmer for another 15 minutes, or until the pork belly is tender and the sauce has thickened.
