Ingredients

  • 4 cups seafood or chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.

  3. Slowly pour in the seafood or chicken broth while continuously stirring to avoid lumps. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  4. Add the mixed seafood to the pot and let it cook for 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Simmer the soup for an additional 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  7. Remove the pot from the heat and ladle the creamy Manchu seafood soup into bowls. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
