Ingredients
- 1 lb mixed seafood (shrimp, scallops, and squid)
- 4 cups seafood or chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
- Sprinkle the flour over the onion and garlic, and stir to create a roux. Cook for 2-3 minutes to remove the raw flour taste.
- Slowly pour in the seafood or chicken broth while continuously stirring to avoid lumps. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

- Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer the soup for an additional 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Remove the pot from the heat and ladle the creamy Manchu seafood soup into bowls. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
