Hakka Noodles With Tofu
Hakka Noodles with Tofu is a popular dish in Indian Chinese cuisine, known for its flavorful and satisfying combination of noodles and tofu.
Ingredients
- 200g Hakka noodles
- 200g firm tofu, diced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, julienned
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp chili sauce
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil the Hakka noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat oil in a wok or large pan. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add sliced onions and julienned bell peppers. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Add diced tofu and cook until lightly browned.
- Now, add the boiled noodles to the wok.
- Pour soy sauce, chili sauce, vinegar, and sugar over the noodles and tofu. Toss everything together.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Once everything is well combined and heated through, remove from heat.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions, if desired, and serve hot.
