Hakka Noodles With Tofu

Ingredients

  • 200g Hakka noodles
  • 200g firm tofu, diced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, julienned
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili sauce
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the Hakka noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a wok or large pan. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add sliced onions and julienned bell peppers. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add diced tofu and cook until lightly browned.
  5. Now, add the boiled noodles to the wok.
  6. Pour soy sauce, chili sauce, vinegar, and sugar over the noodles and tofu. Toss everything together.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  8. Once everything is well combined and heated through, remove from heat.
  9. Garnish with chopped spring onions, if desired, and serve hot.
