Hakka Steamed Stuffed Mushrooms (客家蒸香菇)
客家蒸香菇 (Hakka Steamed Stuffed Mushrooms) is a traditional dish from Hakka Cuisine that features savory stuffed mushrooms steamed to perfection.
Ingredients
- 12 large fresh mushrooms
- 200g ground pork
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 green onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup water chestnuts, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Remove the stems from the mushrooms and set aside. Clean the mushroom caps and pat dry.
- In a bowl, mix together ground pork, minced garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, green onion, water chestnuts, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the mushroom caps with the pork mixture.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms in a steaming plate and steam over high heat for 15 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
